Nearly 25,000 households in south-east Queensland were left without power on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems impacted the state, generating strong winds reaching 109km/h.

Substantial Frozen Precipitation and Widespread Damage

Residents witnessed giant hailstones measuring up to 7cm in certain regions. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that different parts across Queensland had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.
