Vince Zampella, Has Died in an LA Car Crash
The visionary game developer, the mind behind the wildly popular franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in the state of California aged 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the development studio which he helped establish.
The celebrated game designer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and was engulfed in flames on a highway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, those closest to him, and all those touched by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts stated.
